Parrett named HCAC Athlete of the Week

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Defiance College's Troy Parrett (Cedarville, Ohio/H.S.) earned a win at the All-Ohio Division III Championships over the weekend and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for his performance. [Release]

The junior won the 800-meter event with a time of 1:55.69, earning his second-straight title in the event at the meet.  Not only was it his second straight All-Ohio Division III Championships Indoor title, but it is his fourth in a row when including the All-Ohio Division III Championships Outdoor 800-meter event.  The Yellow Jackets placed 11th at the 19-team event.

Parrett and the rest of DC Track and Field will be back in action on Saturday, February 22 for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.  Start time is set for 1 p.m.
