DC Wrestling pins Wilmington in dual meet on Saturday
WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Defiance Yellow Jackets bounced back after two weekends off to earn a 34-20 win in a dual meet at Wilmington on Saturday.
Despite two open forfeits in the first three bouts put the Jackets in a 12-6 hole, Defiance rallied late to claim the team's third dual win of the young season. Defiance also trailed 20-10 with four matches left but posted three straight pins to clinch the win before a forfeit win at the heavyweight.
Drew Matthews and Daniel Thatcher each garnered their team-leading fifth wins in dual meet action while Connor Sintobin notched his fourth dual win this year.
