Perkins Named HCAC Runner of the Week for Second Time

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced that Defiance College senior Justin Perkins was named HCAC Runner of the Week. This is the second time this season that Perkins has collected the award.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced that Defiance College senior Justin Perkins was named HCAC Runner of the Week. This is the second time this season that Perkins has collected the award.

Perkins led the Yellow Jackets at the Wilmington College Invitational with a time of 26:17.19, which helped the squad to a 10th place finish in the 26-team event.

Perkins and the rest of the DC harriers will return to the course on Saturday, October 29 when they compete at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships hosted by Anderson.
