2009 at Defiance: Played in all 46 games behind the plate, recording 152 put outs and 20 assists…Placed second on the team with 28 runs batted in while posting a .305 batting average…Hit four long balls and drew a team-high 20 walks to place second in the HCAC in base on balls…Recorded multiple hits in 10 contests and posted nine multi-RBI games…Received All-HCAC recognition.   

2008 at Defiance: Started all 42 games behind the plate in her first season with the Jackets…Led DC in RBI with 29, ranking fourth in the HCAC in that category…Also ranked fourth in the conference in home runs, tallying five long balls on the season…Topped Defiance with nine doubles, while finishing second on the team with 15 bases on balls and third in batting with a .296 average…Had eight multi-RBI games…Gunned down nearly 50 percent of opponents attempting to steal...Earned All-HCAC honors.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets’ softball team fell to 14-12 on the season Tuesday night, with back-to-back losses to Denison University (17-11). Defiance dropped the first game, 8-7, in extra innings, before suffering a 10-5 loss in the nightcap.
