Wrestling Participates in the Little States Open

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -  The Yellow Jacket wrestling team competed at the Indiana Little States Open on Saturday. Leading the way was Raymier Hickerson (133) with an 8th place finish.

 

Several other individuals earned victories on the day for the Purple and Gold. Jacob Legge (174) earned a win in the first round of the consolation bracket. Devonte Gaskill (157), in his first competition on the season, beat his Indiana Tech opponent 9-6 for his lone victory of the day. Cortez Bradley (149) also earned a pin in the first round over Wabash College. Tyler Houston (165) recorded a fall in just :51 seconds of the first period over his Calumet College foe.

 

The DC Wrestling team will be back in action next weekend December, 8th at the Waynesburg Duals in Waynesburg, Pa. The contests is slated to start at 11:30 am.
