Crowell Named Academic All-OCSA

DEFIANCE, OHIO -- Defiance College women's soccer player, Jillian Crowell (Kalamazoo, Mich./Plainwell), has been named third-team Academic All-Ohio by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA).

Crowell earned Academic All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference honors as well following the conclusion of the 2015 season.  

Crowell currently holds a 3.56 grade point average as an accounting major.  To be eligible to be named Academic All-Ohio, candidates must maintain a minimum of a 3.20 gpa.  

Athletically, Crowell started all 16 games she played in for the Yellow Jackets and scored one goal, which was a game-winner, for two points.  She tallied a total of 13 shots, with five shots on goal.
