Offense Earns Women's Soccer an 11-0 Victory

BERRIEN SPRINGS, MICHIGAN- The Defiance College women's soccer team was in action Wednesday afternoon as they traveled to Andrews University. The Yellow Jackets offensive productivity took down the Cardinals for an 11-0 victory.

Senior, Lauren Perry (Northwood, Ohio. / Lake) finished off the night scoring three goals for the Yellow Jackets and recording one assist to freshman, Isabella Marshall (Circleville, Ohio. / Circleville), which was her first career goal for the Purple and Gold.

Senior Blake Newman (Jackson, Mich. / Lumen Christi) also had an offensive night scoring two goals and tallying one assist to her fellow senior Kiana Carpenter (Holmesville, Ohio. / Triway). Freshman Ally Enneking (Cincinnati, Ohio / Roger Bacon) recorded her first collegiate solo goal on the day, as well as one assist to Newman.

Briana Snider (Lima, Ohio. / Shawnee) also recorded her first goals as a Yellow Jacket, scoring twice on the day with assists from Marshall and senior,  Sarah Madaras (Kalamazoo, Mich. / Parchment).

Rounding out the scoring for the Yellow Jackets was senior, Madi Bowman (Eaton, Ohio. / Eaton). 

The women will return to action on Sunday, September 8 as they host Penn St.- Beaver for a 2:00 pm kickoff from Winsper-Knobel Memorial Field.
