Porter named All-Conference honorable mention

CARMEL, Ind. - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the Spring 2021 Volleyball All-Conference teams and award winners on Monday afternoon. Senior outside hitter and defensive specialist Morgan Porter (Defiance, Ohio/ Defiance) earned All-HCAC Honorable Mention accolades for her efforts during the season.

Porter appeared in 16 matches and 52 sets of the 2021 season, where she lead the team with 211 digs. She was in the top five in the conference standings for digs per set with 4.06. The senior registered 61 kills, 30 assists, and 19 service aces.

The Purple and Gold, under the direction of ninth-year head coach Brie Brenner, finished the season 4-13 overall, 3-6 HCAC play.
