CARMEL, Ind. - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the Spring 2021 Volleyball All-Conference teams and award winners on Monday afternoon. Senior outside hitter and defensive specialist Morgan Porter (Defiance, Ohio/ Defiance) earned All-HCAC Honorable Mention accolades for her efforts during the season.
CINCINNATI, Ohio- On Saturday afternoon, the Yellow Jacket women’s volleyball team traveled to Mount St. Joseph University. In the first match, counting toward Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings, Defiance fell in straight sets by a score of 3-0 (19-25, 19-25, 15-25). The second non-conference match went to Mount St. Joseph by a score of 3-1 (13-25, 20-25, 25-22, 21-25).

Defiance earned a split on the evening as they fell short in the second non-conference match, where the Ravens' won 3-0 (14-25, 20-25,15-25).

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College women's volleyball team heads into the upcoming 2020-21 season returning key players, including ten upperclassmen from last year joined by six freshmen. Entering her ninth campaign as head coach at Defiance, Brie Brenner is looking for her Yellow Jackets to improve their records from last season, finishing 17-12 overall and 5-4 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play, including a trip to the conference tournament.
