L'Heureux Named HCAC Special Teams Player of the Week

GREENWOOD, IND. – For the second time this season, Defiance College freshman Tyler L'Heureux (Apopka, Fla. /Apopka) has been selected as this week's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference "Special Teams Player of the Week." [HCAC Release]

L'Heureux helped the Yellow Jackets post a 51-7 win against Earlham (Ind.) College on Saturday (Oct.. 24) on Homecoming. He made a season-long 44-yard field goal and converted six-of-seven extra point attempts.

L'Heureux is now five-for-seven on field goal attempts for the season and is 13-of-16 on extra points. In addition, he is averaging 54.9 yards on kickoffs with three touchbacks. 

L'Heureux and the rest of the Defiance football squad will travel to Anderson, Ind. on Saturday, Oct. 31 for a HCAC matchup against Anderson (Ind.) University.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
