2012 at Defiance: Took part in 10 events over the course of the indoor and outdoor seasons … Finished fourth-place in the 10,000-meter run and seventh in the 5,000-meter run at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.
2011 at Defiance: Recorded the Defiance College indoor record as a member of the distance-medley relay team that ran a 10:41.18 at the All-Ohio Championships on February 12 … Also notched the top one-mile run time during the indoor season with a mark of 4:29.06 … Collected indoor All-Ohio honors.
2010 at Defiance: Set the then DC indoor record in the one-mile run (4:27.18) and the 3,000-meters (9:06.31) … Also ran on the distance-medley relay team that posted the then best mark in school history with a time of 10:44.95 … Earned All-Ohio honors and was named HCAC Preseason Athlete to Watch for the outdoor season … Clocked in the fastest time in DC outdoor track history in the 4x800-meters with a mark of 8:08.37 on April 24.

Postema added a third first-place finish, while Davis earned his second win of the competition.
MANCHESTER, Ind. – Senior thrower Tom Postema put on a jaw-dropping spectacle on Friday, April 26 at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. The Defiance, Ohio, native tossed a first-place distance of 65.80 meters (215.88 ft.) in the hammer throw that established the third-best mark in National Collegiate Athletic Association Div. III history.
NEW ORLEANS – The Purple and Gold men’s outdoor track and field team have cracked the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Top-25 and given the squad its highest-ever ranking in DC history. The team currently sits No. 18 in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Div. III rankings.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – In the 18th Annual Dick Small Invitational, the Defiance College men’s track and field team notched a solid outing of eight first-place finishes on Friday, March 29. Senior Tom Postema paved the way with three individual top finishes on the afternoon.

III Indoor All-American Tom Postema picked up right where he left off, as he led DC to a second-place finish at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational on Friday, March 22. The senior thrower took first in the hammer, discus and shot put with marks that rank in the top-10 of the country.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Purple and Gold men’s track and field team received 84 points in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Preseason Poll. Defiance earned a second-place finish at last year’s outdoor championship meet and the voters gave it the best chance to knock off Rose-Hulman, who has recorded five consecutive HCAC Outdoor Championships.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – It was a big weekend for the Yellow Jacket men’s track and field squad at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The team came away in third place, notched three All-HCAC and three Second-Team All-HCAC performers and added the top male field athlete in the conference.
