CEDERVILLE, Ohio – The Defiance men’s cross country team performed well in the annual All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, Ohio on Saturday, September 29. Senior Hayden Krick finished first for the Yellow Jackets with a time of 26:19.11. He finished 87th overall, while being 16th amongst NCAA Division III schools.

WILMINGTON, Ohio – It was a personal record setting day for the Defiance men’s cross country team, as five harries set career times including Joe Davis, who finished first for DC and 29th of 380 runners with a time of 26:04.54. The team placed 15th of 34 teams at the meet.

ERIE, Pa. – Senior Hayden Krick had himself a career day on Saturday September 15, as he set the all-time Defiance record, as well as the course record, at the Penn-State Behrend Invitational. Krick finished with a first place time of 25:57.8 that shattered the old record of 26:17 set by Justin Perkins last season.
BLUFFTON, Ohio – In the second meet of the season, the DC men’s cross-country team showed well as it finished second at the Bluffton Invitational behind Manchester. The squad was led by junior Joe Davis who placed second overall with a time of 26:45:00, four seconds off first.

Three Yellow Jackets were named HCAC Runners to Watch in senior Hayden Krick, junior Joe Davis, and sophomore Josh Hilton.
