2009 at Defiance: Started all 46 games at her shortstop position, recording 79 put outs and a conference-high 140 assists…Placed second on the team in both hits and runs batted in with 47 and 30 respectively…Hit a team-high 10 doubles and also registered the first home run of her career…Recorded a hit in eight of her last nine games…Received All-HCAC recognition.   

2008 at Defiance: Played in 32 games for DC, starting 21 from her second base position after missing time due to injury…Led the Jackets with four stolen bases, while finishing second on the team with nine sacrifice hits…Tallied 71 putouts and 38 assists…Earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-American honors. 

High School: A graduate of Coldwater High School, Stucke was a four-year letterwinner for coach Jeff Kerr...She was named conference player of the year her senior season, while also earning all-district and all-state honors for the second-straight season.

Personal: Daughter of Myron and Karen Stucke of Coldwater, Ohio...Majoring in middle childhood education...Also a member of the DC women’s basketball team.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – With two outs and a runner on second base in the bottom of the ninth inning, Tasha Stucke ripped a walk-off double to the right field wall, giving the Yellow Jackets a 4-3 victory over Manchester College, and their seventh-straight season to finish with at least a .500 overall record.
