AVON, Ohio – Defiance College’s Tasha Stucke and Marah Robinson donned their Yellow Jacket uniforms one more time on Sunday, representing the Purple and Gold in an exhibition game against the Akron Racers at All Pro Freight Stadium.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Marah Robinson made her Senior Day one to remember. The senior slugger went six-for-six on the day with five RBI, including a two-run jack that sparked a late-inning rally for Defiance to seal a series sweep at home against Manchester College.
CINCINNATI, Ohio – Following a six-day hiatus due to inclement weather, the Yellow Jacket softball team was finally able to finish its two-game series with Mount St. Joseph on Thursday.
CINCINNATI, Ohio – Defiance recorded just one hit and no runs in a 2-0 loss at Mount St. Joseph (5-23; 3-8 HCAC) on Friday. The game one loss was followed by a postponement of game two due to rain.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Shauna Bowers was selected as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday, after leading DC to a 3-1 record for the week with two wins and a save.
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Shauna Bowers notched her third complete-game shutout of the season as the Jackets rolled over Hanover, 6-0, in the first contest, and came through with a save in game two, when Defiance completed the series sweep with a 6-3 victory.
BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets picked up a 5-3 victory in game one of their doubleheader at Bluffton University on Wednesday, but dropped a 4-3 decision in the nightcap to fall back to .500 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 3-3 conference record.
DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets came up short against a red-hot Anderson University squad on Saturday. Defiance fell, 6-3, in the first contest and 5-3 in game two to drop into a tie for fourth place in the conference standings with a 2-2 record against HCAC opponents.
GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Yellow Jackets rode Shauna Bowers’ complete-game shutout to a 2-0 victory in game one, before dropping a 9-8 extra-inning decision in the nightcap at Denison University (14-4) on Tuesday.
