ADRIAN, Mich - The Yellow Jackets closed out their non-conference schedule with a 6-0 loss to the Adrian Bulldogs at Docking Stadium Wednesday.
The Turning Point
Defiance struggled against a well-oiled offensive squad in Adrian as the Bulldogs put up a staggering 43 shots — 17 of them on goal. Yellow Jacket goalkeeper Taylor Osborne had 11 saves in only her second start. Down 3-0 at the half following sporadic Bulldog goals, Adrian came out strong scoring three more goals in under 10 minutes of play, leaving DC with no response. The Yellow Jackets had no shots and no shots-on-goal for the first time this season.
