Jackets fall in hard fought battle with Beavers

Rival Bluffton defeated volleyball in straight sets Wednesday evening at the Karl H. Weaner Center.

• Bluffton finished the match with 43 kills, 36 assists, and 53 digs.

• Defiance ended with 24 kills, 21 assists, and 39 digs.

• The match was closely contested with Bluffton coming out on top.

• Defiance held a 22-19 advantage in set three. Bluffton then called a timeout and closed out the set and match with six straight points.
