2012 at Defiance: During the indoor campaign, posted season best times, as well as fifth-place finishes in the 800-meter dash (2:00.54) and distance-medley relay (10:59.34) at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on February 18 … Outdoor season-best time of 52.36 in the 400-meter run and member of the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:30.74) at the HCAC Championships.

2011 at Defiance: Recorded the Defiance College indoor record as a member of the distance-medley relay team that ran a 10:41.18 at the All-Ohio Championships on February 12 … Helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a second-place finish at the HCAC Indoor Championships with a time of 3:31.00 … During the outdoor campaign, ran on the 4x400-meter relay team that notched a season-best time of 3:24.03 at the HCAC Championships.

High School: Varsity letterman all four years at Thomas Worthington High for head coach Andy Cox … Earned all-conference and all-district honors, as well as being a regional and state qualifier.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference released its outdoor track and field All-HCAC lists Thursday, May 2 and the Yellow Jackets came through with a fantastic performance. Senior Tom Postema and junior Joe Davis were named HCAC Most-Outstanding Male Track and Field Athletes to top off DC’s strong list of All-HCAC honorees.

MANCHESTER, Ind. – Senior Tom Postema and junior Joe Davis used the second day of action at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships to bolster their resumes as top athletes in the conference. Postema added a third first-place finish, while Davis earned his second win of the competition.

DELAWARE, Ohio – The All-Ohio Championships brought out the best in many of the athletes on DC’s men’s track and field team on Saturday, April 13. Leading the way for the Purple and Gold were senior Tom Postema, junior Joe Davis and sophomore Troy Parrett.

CINCINNATI, Ohio – National Collegiate Athletic Association Div. III Indoor All-American Tom Postema picked up right where he left off, as he led DC to a second-place finish at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational on Friday, March 22. The senior thrower took first in the hammer, discus and shot put with marks that rank in the top-10 of the country.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – It was a big weekend for the Yellow Jacket men’s track and field squad at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The team came away in third place, notched three All-HCAC and three Second-Team All-HCAC performers and added the top male field athlete in the conference.
