DEFIANCE, Ohio - Yet another postseason honor was recently awarded to Defiance College’s Nick Sales, as DIII News selected the forward as an Honorable Mention All-American in their latest publication.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced its winter honorees for the Tom Bohlsen Academic All-HCAC Team. Defiance College placed two student-athletes on the list to raise its 2009-2010 total to 17 entering the spring seasons.

FRANKLIN, Ind. – For just the second time since making the transition to the NCAA Division III ranks in 1991-1992 and the 15th time in school history, the Defiance College men’s basketball program reached the 20-win plateau in a single-season by scoring a 73-60 win at Franklin on Saturday.
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Nick Sales turned in a vintage effort in Wednesday’s Senior Night victory over rival Bluffton University, as the senior forward logged his 25th collegiate double-double to lead Defiance to the 70-60 win, while improving the Yellow Jackets to 123-61 all-time against the Beavers on the planks.
